6688 is a two-component product;

High strength, high elongation, high modulus, suitable for high-rise, super-high-rise curtain walls, large-plate glass, aluminum plate curtain walls, steel structure main curtain walls and other buildings;

Provides a safety factor of more than 8 times;

Neutral curing, no corrosion to metal and coated glass;

Excellent weather resistance;

Excellent adhesion to most building materials;

Good compatibility with other neutral silicone sealants.

Main Uses

Structural assembly of glass curtain wall projects;

It can directly connect glass to the surface of metal structural components to form a single assembly component, meeting the design requirements of fully concealed or semi-concealed curtain walls.

Usage Restrictions

Construction is not suitable when the surface temperature of the material is below 10℃ or above 40℃;

Not suitable for frosted or damp surfaces;

Not suitable for places that are continuously submerged in water or permanently damp;

Contact with rubber materials (such as rubber strips, rubber pads, etc.) should be avoided to prevent yellowing. Contact with acidic or alkaline substances (such as exterior wall cleaning solutions) should be avoided to prevent discoloration;

Not suitable for any materials that will seep oil, plasticizers, or solvents, such as the surface of oil-soaked wood. Storage and Shelf Life

Should be stored in a cool, dry place below 27℃. The shelf life is 12 months from the date of production.

Maintenance

Generally, no maintenance is required. If the sealant joint is damaged, replace the damaged part. Simply use a solvent to remove accumulated dirt, then fill it with sealant. The sealant adheres well to the already cured sealant of the same type.

Safety Precautions

Before using the product, please refer to the product's safety data sheet.

The sealant product is non-toxic after complete curing, but before curing, avoid contact with eyes. If contact with eyes occurs, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical attention. Uncured products should be kept away from children. The product releases small molecules during the curing process. Ventilation should be ensured during construction and curing to avoid excessive concentration of small molecules affecting people.
