Product Features

This product is a one-component, neutral, room-temperature vulcanizing, and excellent flame-retardant architectural silicone sealant. Its flame retardancy reaches FV-0 level (GB/T240B). It does not support combustion when exposed to open flames, self-extinguishes, and does not release harmful gases such as thick smoke. It has excellent weather resistance and high-temperature resistance, and a long service life. It has excellent adhesion to glass, polished surfaces, wood, aluminum, steel, and stone.

Expansion joints; fire-retardant sealing of electronic and electrical components and fire-retardant sealing at each layer of curtain wall projects:

Fire-retardant sealing for waterproofing, moisture-proofing, and decoration in public places.

Instructions

Before construction, conduct adhesion tests between the sealant and the substrate, and compatibility tests between the sealant and accessories. Construction can only proceed after successful testing;

The substrate should be thoroughly cleaned with a solvent using the two-cloth cleaning method, kept dry, and construction should be carried out within 30 minutes after cleaning;

Ensure that the sealant completely fills the gap, making the adhesive layer dense and in close contact with the substrate surface. Adjust the adhesive seam within 5 minutes after application;

Suitable construction surface temperature is 5℃ to 40℃.

Usage Restrictions

Cannot be used as a structural sealant;

Construction is not suitable when the surface temperature is below 4℃ or above 40℃;

Not suitable for frosty or damp surfaces;

Not suitable for places that are continuously submerged in water or perpetually damp;

Avoid contact with rubber materials (such as rubber strips, rubber pads, etc.) to prevent yellowing; avoid contact with acidic or alkaline substances (such as exterior wall cleaning solutions) to prevent discoloration;

Not suitable for all materials that will exude oil, plasticizers, or solvents, such as the surface of oil-soaked wood. Storage and Shelf Life

Store in a cool, dry place below 27℃. The shelf life is 9 months from the production date.

Maintenance

Generally requires no maintenance. If the sealant seam is damaged, replace the damaged part. Simply clean accumulated dirt with a solvent and refill with sealant. The sealant adheres well to already cured sealant of the same type.

Safety Precautions

Refer to the product's safety data sheet before use.

The sealant is non-toxic after complete curing. However, before curing, avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and seek medical attention. Keep uncured product away from children. The product releases small molecules during curing. Ensure good ventilation in the construction and curing area to avoid high concentrations of small molecules affecting people.
