Product Features

This product is a one-component, neutral, room-temperature vulcanizing, and excellent flame-retardant building silicone sealant. Its flame retardancy reaches FV-0 level (GB/T240B). It does not support combustion when exposed to open flames, self-extinguishes, and does not release harmful gases such as thick smoke. It has excellent weather resistance and high-temperature resistance, and a long service life. It has excellent adhesion to glass, polished surfaces, wood, aluminum, steel, and stone.

Boundary seams around various fire doors and windows; pipe, electrical, and water pipe seams between walls and floors,

Expansion joints; fire-retardant sealing of various layers in curtain wall projects, electronic and electrical component fixing and fire-retardant sealing:

Fire-retardant sealing for waterproofing, moisture-proofing, and decoration in public places.

Instructions

Before construction, a bonding test of the sealant with the substrate and a compatibility test of the sealant with accessories should be conducted. Construction can only proceed after the tests are passed;

The substrate should be thoroughly cleaned with a solvent using the two-cloth cleaning method, kept dry, and construction should be carried out within 30 minutes after cleaning;

Ensure that the sealant completely fills the gap, making the adhesive layer dense and in close contact with the substrate surface, and adjust the adhesive seam within 5 minutes after application;

Suitable construction surface temperature is 5℃ to 40℃.

Usage Restrictions

Cannot be used as a structural sealant;

Construction is not suitable when the surface temperature is below 4℃ or above 40℃;

Not suitable for frosty or damp surfaces;

Not suitable for places that are continuously submerged in water or perpetually damp;

Contact with rubber materials (such as rubber strips, rubber pads, etc.) should be avoided to prevent yellowing; contact with acidic or alkaline substances (such as exterior wall cleaning solutions) should be avoided to prevent discoloration;

Not suitable for all materials that will seep oil, plasticizers, or solvents, such as the surface of oil-soaked wood. Storage and Shelf Life

Should be stored in a cool, dry place below 27℃. The shelf life is 9 months from the production date.

Maintenance

Generally, no maintenance is required. If the sealant seam is damaged, replace the damaged part. Simply clean the accumulated dirt with a solvent and then fill it with sealant. The sealant adheres well to the cured sealant of the same type.

Safety Precautions

Refer to the product's safety data sheet before use.

The sealant product is non-toxic after complete curing, but contact with eyes should be avoided before curing. If contact with eyes occurs, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and seek medical attention; keep uncured product away from children. The product releases small molecules during the curing process. Ensure good ventilation in the construction and curing area to avoid high concentrations of small molecules affecting people.
