Product Features

This product is a one-component, room-temperature neutral curing silicone structural sealant for building structures;

It can be easily extruded for construction and reacts with moisture in the air;

It cures into an elastomer that is cold-resistant, heat-resistant, high and low temperature resistant, and non-corrosive;

It has excellent weather resistance, such as ozone resistance and UV resistance, giving it a long service life. Under normal circumstances, no primer is required, and after curing, it can produce good adhesion to most building materials, such as glass, aluminum, steel and stone surfaces.

Main Uses

Suitable for structural bonding of curtain wall glass and aluminum; This product can directly connect glass and metal surfaces to form a single component, meeting the structural assembly of fully concealed or semi-concealed curtain walls. Structural double-bonding and sealing of insulating glass.

Instructions

Before construction, a bonding test of the sealant and the substrate to be bonded, and a compatibility test of the sealant and accessories should be carried out. Construction can only proceed after the tests are passed;

The substrate should be thoroughly cleaned with a solvent using the two-cloth cleaning method, kept dry, and construction should be carried out within 30 minutes after cleaning;

Ensure that the adhesive is fully filled in the gap, making the adhesive layer dense and in close contact with the substrate surface, and adjust the adhesive seam within 5 minutes after application;

Suitable construction surface temperature of building materials is 10℃ to 40℃.

Usage Restrictions

Construction is not suitable when the surface temperature of the material is below 10℃ or above 40℃;

Not suitable for use on frosted or damp surfaces;

Not suitable for places that are continuously submerged in water or permanently damp places;

Contact with rubber materials (such as rubber strips, rubber pads, etc.) should be avoided to prevent yellowing; Contact with acidic or alkaline substances (such as exterior wall cleaning solutions) should be avoided to prevent discoloration;

Not suitable for use on any materials that will seep out oil, plasticizers or solvents, such as the surface of oil-soaked wood. Storage and Shelf Life

Should be stored in a cool, dry place below 27℃. The shelf life is 12 months from the date of production. Maintenance

Generally, no maintenance is required. If the sealant seam is damaged, replace the damaged part. Simply remove accumulated dirt with a solvent, then fill with sealant. The sealant adheres well to the cured sealant of the same type.

The sealant product is non-toxic after complete curing, but before curing, avoid contact with eyes. If contact with eyes occurs, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical attention; Keep uncured product away from children. The product releases small molecules during the curing process. Ventilation should be ensured during construction and curing to avoid high concentrations of small molecules affecting people.
